philippe: Hello all, I don't speak Russian even if I can read it more or less thanks to an automatic translator. I didn't want to be impolite towards the members of this particular forum about the Sredneasiatskaya Ovcharka. I consider it would have been a real lack of deference to write my message in a very bad Russian obtained thanks to my online translator. Back to the dog I asked your opinion about, it is an Afghan Sage Koochi that is regarded as a pure Tibetan Mastiff by some American TM breeders. The question was not just in perspective does the dog looks like Tibetan Mastiff . More important is Tibetan Mastiff real referrence point for asian shepherd breeds development? It seems to me that's wrong statement just because even some of breeds has Tibetan Mastiffs as ancestors , they have their own properties(usable) as point to difference with Tibetan Mastiff.
